Your experiences are your lessons in life and in love. Without them, we would all be empty, heartless creatures with no understanding of pain, sorrow or loss; we need trials and tribulations to make us appreciate the good in life.

Not to say that we hate love in itself, but to say that we've been bruised, and have pulled through. We may be jaded, bitter and twisted, but at least we're not naive.
