It was this little remark that made me want to rustle up a newly defined psychosis - one which arises in the aftermath of heartbreak.
I hear so many people throwing the word cunt at people that are, in my mind, psychologically damaged by the effects of heartbreak - to the point where they effect defence through aggression or indifference or alcoholism (I am guilty of all three, and probably more besides).
And that's fine - those people (and I) might be roaring purple cunts of a frightening size, but what's interesting me is the cause and effect cycle that occurs here.
In the post, that the comment was directed at, Aristoteli is explaining that he's been cunted up and therefore is a cunt. A typical situation, I'm sure we'd agree. As we proceed into his warped and disturbing post, we find that this cuntishness is being propagated through the cuntosphere by means of him treating his current (innocent, perhaps) girlfriend in a cuntworthy manner (read: effecting the image of loving her through a series of motivated and definite psychological errors in him). We can hypothesise that she gets cunted and, therefore, his psychosis transmits to her and possibly the cycle begins again - though this time with (potentially) two new doomed relationships beginning.
I suppose that the psychosis that remains after being heartbroken has a way of replicating itself, like a virus, in certain situations. I'm not saying it happens all the time, but just that it does. I've certainly been guilty of passing on the disease.
In any case, it's a hard one to deal with. People's POVs do change when they've faced the evils of love head on, and it can't be helped.
I think the psychosis should be listed as a clinical condition, to be honest. It's pretty distinct and it'll get me the rest of my life off work.
