It has occurred to me, that I have no clue what most of you are on about. I don't think that I'm an emotionally detached person. I've suffered heartache and loss as well. I've been dragged through enough drama. I just don't dwell on it. I move on.
I'm sure this is all coming over extremely arrogant and ignorant. However, I don't mean for it to be. I think it's just my perception of things.
Maybe you think I don't belong here and yes, I have read the FAQ's.
1. I am a helpless romantic fucked over by reality (or something along those lines). Check.
2. I have droned on in an offensive manner. Check.
3. I do not turn a blind eye to the miseries of life. Check.
4. You did take me. Check.
I too can go on about the pain love causes and it's cuntish ways. I'm sorry, if I just don't do it with a bleeding heart. Perhaps I'll try harder next time.

Of course you belong here. Different people have different ways of coping with LIAC. Each way is valid.
Just because most of the people here now are bleeding hearts, it doesn't mean that you need to be, or even that they will remain that way forever. Personally, I just feel a certain therapy in spewing my angst onto the web - exorcising the demons safely, without having a priest fall down some stairs and break his neck.
But that's just me. As long as you can check those boxes on the FAQ, then you belong here.
